I'm very excited to share my final LEVEL 3 project with you all today! For my last level 3 course, I chose All about Layering 5~ BAF Edition with Lydia! Lydia gave us many terrific examples on how to layer these beautiful stamps as well as create unique cards! I was instantly drawn to the class where we make a trifold card and then have our flowers arranged to have lots of heights, dimensions ~it resembles a small garden to me! I chose to use the Bearded Iris Stamp Set as Iris's are one of my favorite spring flowers and the variety I have at home smell like grape soda! Here is my garden at home!

Here is the card I designed using the tools from my lesson!

Using the packaging layering instructions, I stamped a dozen Iris' and cut each one using the die cuts in the set.

Once all my images were die cut, I then took a 6"x10" piece of card stock and cut the card stock at an angle. To cut on the angle, you mark a dot on the top R corner and put a dot 2" from bottom on left corner. Cut into 2 pieces. Make a score line at the 3 1/2" mark and 7" mark

Now the fun begins! Fold the card in thirds and begin arranging the florals in a cascading way.

TIP: When arranging the florals on your card stock, place a piece of low tack tape on your groupings and then it is easier to adhere to card.

On my front panel I added a piece of Brushed Grid Wide Washi tape for added interest. I began layering my flowers in the back, gently tacked them down and repeated my steps on each panel. When the card is fully shut, you want your flowers arranged in a way to show case the blooms! They should stagger each other. I had to play a bit to get the right look.

Supplies Used:

Altenew BAF Bearded Iris

Lilac Blossoms Cube Set

Sentiments and Quotes Stamp Set

Brushed Grid Washi Tape

White Card Stock 110lb weight

Altenew Obsidean Ink or Permanent Black can be used

Die Cut Machine

Adhesive of choice

The All About Layering 5 Class BAF edition is truly a great class to add to your learning! I am going to create more cards like this using a variety of flowers! Will surely make a special gift!

Till next time! HUGS!

In typical Hermès fashion, there's an underlying emphasis on design with a case that plays off the numerals zero and eight, featuring circular shapes, softened edges, and pleasing curves contrasted by angular details that balance the link composition. Speaking of composition, within the H08 line you'll also find a mix of materials, from graphene composite link and DLC-coated titanium cases to black gold-coated or link black nickel-coated dials – an intermingling of delicacy and strength.
